he was convivnced there was nothing she wouldn't do
to stay with and near even if she lost her life
she'd been in the field awhile and she'd earned stripes
like the one night when bad john law bus in
and had him on his knees, she could have turned him in
but out of the closet she bust with a gat
squeezed two in old johnny, and that was that

truth be for this, he tried to set her free
when he aw there wer ekno bounds to her loyalty
but she refused to tpaer off and always stood by his side
like being near her man was what kept her alive
she loved him, he loved her that's all that mattered
when trouble stood up she never ran nor scattered
stood tall by her man, fighting for him was a must
and so for that she held his heart and his trust.
